This was the day that 5029 Nunney Castle and 70013 Oliver Cromwell took The Royal Duchy from London Paddington to Par with D1015 Western Champion running ahead for the return working. With Nunney Castle having failed at Newton Abbot D1015 was sent back to drag the train for the rest of the journey to Par.
